Will i get the HOPE scholarship back?

I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and anemia prior to the 2010-2011 academic year .I was taking medications (and still am) for the kidney failure and anemia. However, my GPA got affected by those conditions ( i had to go to doctor's appointments and hospital), and lost HOPE scholarship because of a 2.7 GPA. I have sent an appeal letter. What is my chances of retaining the HOPE scholarship??
