How do you tell your mom you want to wear makeup?

just tell your mom you want to experiment and see what makes you more comfortable. even tell her you guys can go together to get the makeup/ you can also say you want to look naturally beautiful, but add some soft colors. tell her you want to use soft, more natual colors like tan, biege, brown, and green. show her that you are responsible enough. personally im 14 and i have worn makeup for 2 years. in the beginning i wore way too much. but now i wear concealor (when i need it) bronzer (because im naturally tan, so it evens out my skin instead of a heavy and harsh foundation) wter proof mascara (i have long lashes but it makes them fuller) and some dark brown eyeliner (lightly applied)
